Fall Family Photos | Omaha Lifestyle Photographer

While summer isn’t officially over yet, it sure feels like it. Definitely not in the temperature sense! School has started back up and football is back on TV, making me feel that fall is right around the corner. And with fall comes fall family photos.

If you’ve been waiting for fall to get your family photos done, I have some HUGE news in store for you. After much thought and trying to find the perfect balance between my voice and what my clients are looking for, I’ve decided (drum roll please) to only offer Sunset Sessions as mini sessions!

Why am I changing things?

I know. For years you’ve heard me say that I was never going to do mini-sessions. But, my business has changed and how I do things is always changing. I prefer most of my work to be the storytelling style and I have found that there is no storytelling that goes on during sunset sessions. I take that back, it’s very little about telling a story and very much about getting pretty pictures for your walls and holiday cards. I have found most people do not need an entire 2–hour session to get enough shots to fulfill this need. This change will allow me to focus my storytelling on full sessions.

So what’s this mean?

This means that all sunset sessions will now be a 30 minute mini-session. I will only offer these at certain times of the year, it is not something that can be scheduled at any time. If you are wanting a sunset session, then you’ll have to sign up for a time slot as they are announced. I will offer multiple locations throughout the year so sign up for the location you want as it becomes open. These will be offered to my email subscribers first so make sure you are signed up to receive emails or join my VIP Facebook group.

Ok, this is the section you’ve been waiting for. Each mini-session will be 30-minutes long, you’ll receive 5 printable files for $295. You’ll be able to upgrade for more files or add printed products during your viewing session just as before. I have found most people don’t typically print every image from these sessions and 5 printable images tended to be the magic number. These will still take place during sunset, allowing 2 sessions to take place at a given location/date.
